Project enquiry
Send your product and
operating requirements.
Provide the product model, or share the medium, temperature, pressure, size, materials, connection, actuation, standards and quantity.
How do I source an industrial valve from ZGV?
Start with a valve family or an existing product reference, then send the operating conditions and required documents. ZGV supplies ball, butterfly, gate, globe, check, bellows and plug valves. The catalogue helps identify a construction; the quotation confirms the configuration for your project.
What information makes a valve quotation useful?
| RFQ information | What to provide |
|---|---|
| Product and quantity | Valve family, model or catalogue reference, drawing and quantity. |
| Service conditions | Fluid composition, nominal size, operating and design pressure and temperature. |
| Construction and installation | Body, trim and seat materials; end connection, installation space and actuation. |
| Project documents | Applicable project specification, required certificates, inspection and test documents. |
Can I enquire without knowing the valve model?
Yes. Send the valve duty, fluid, size, pressure, temperature, materials and connection requirements through the enquiry form. Include a product or drawing reference when available, and use the email listed on the contact page to share project documents with the team.
How do ball valves and butterfly valves differ?
A ball valve uses a rotating ball; a butterfly valve uses a rotating disc. Both catalogue families use approximately a quarter turn for opening and closing. Compare the construction, seat, dimensions and pressure-temperature requirements in the selection guides before specifying a product.
Does a catalogue standard reference prove current certification?
No. A catalogue describes designs and technical references. Request the current certificate, its scope and the required inspection documents for the selected product with your quotation.
Where can I check the source of the selection information?
The ball and butterfly selection guides link to unchanged excerpts from the ZGV API Valve Series Products Selection Catalogue. Their original PDF page numbers are stated with each download. Product drawings and tables are available on the relevant catalogue entries.
